'A Shakespeare deconstruction destined for the West End' - City AM. Shakespeare's Globe veterans Nina & Phil present a tell-all dark comedy which asks: Who is Shakespeare for? Now available to stream.

The death of a national sweetheart.
A friendship tested by a bloody act.
An infamous production of Shakespeare's Henry V.

A tell-all dark comedy that peels back the skin of English cultural identity to reveal the steaming battlefields that lies beneath. Would you die for your country?

    ★★★★★ 'Astutely silly' (Reviews Hub)

★★★★★ 'Relatable and enjoyable' (Mind The Blog)

    ★★★★★ (The Greatest Pause)

From rehearsal room microaggressions, to the battlefields of France, into the bureaucracy of applying for citizenship, Shakespeare's Globe Ensemble veterans Nina Bowers and Philip Arditti explore their histories alongside England's own as unwilling actors in a national story.

    Digital run

One of the aims of the company (RealFake) and Camden People's Theatre is to keep the arts as affordable and accessible as possible. It was really important to us to be able to offer an online version of the show for those who are vulnerable, isolating and/or not comfortable in busy venues. Thanks to funding from the City Bridge Foundation, we have been able to make a streaming version possible, including captions. Videography by ChewBoy Productions.

    Booking your digital run ticket

When booking, please disregard the date/time. After you've purchased your ticket, you will have access to the stream on demand at any time until 26th July. Please select the 'Print at Home' ticket option when booking. Your ticket containing the link will be emailed to you from foh@cptheatre.co.uk a few minutes after your confirmation email arrives. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder.

A RealFake and Camden People's Theatre co-production. Commissioned by Camden People's Theatre and supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Old Diorama Arts Centre. Videography by ChewBoy Productions.
